Sharp knife, great value 12/08/2016
By Paul Turk
These knives from Victorinox represent one of the best values in the world of kitchen cutlery. They come very sharp and work well for the typical job of a paring knife.

I have a full set of Wusthof Classic knives, and they are terrific. However, more often than not, this little knife from Victorinox is the one reach for when peeling apples or cutting strawberries. Works well on citrus fruits (such as the limes needed for my Coronas) and other small prep work, like cutting mushrooms, and small tomatoes.

The blade is very thin, which makes it less appropriate for harder fruits and vegetables, like carrots and apples. Hard to go wrong with these for $5.
