The illustrated Forschner Knife is the Forschner Santoku Knife that features a 7" granton edge blade made of high carbon stainless steel. The blade of this Forschner knife has the Victorinox logo etch. The handle is made from Black Fibrox, and has been approved by the National Sanitation Foundation.
Forschner kitchen knives feature high-carbon stainless steel blades which are hand finished by Victorinox in Switzerland. A special tempering process produces an edge that can be resharpened again and again. All Victorinox handles are ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension.
