The HERO-02 TOPS Silent Hero Knife is a versatile field knife, designed by Anton Du Plessis - who's task as the Chief of Operations for the Specialized Interdiction Unit of the Silent Heroes Foundation is to combat poaching in South Africa. The Silent Hero features a 6.38 inch drop point fixed blade made of 1095 steel, .190 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. The blade has a 5.75 inch cutting edge, a unique Black River Wash finish, pronounced choil for choking up on the blade when making fine cuts, large finger guard with integral lanyard hole, and a notched thumb ramp for secure grip and precise control. The Silent Hero has full tang construction for strength; ergonomic smooth black linen Micarta scales for comfortable grip, and a lanyard hole. A genuine leather belt loop sheath is included. The TOPS Knives Silent Hero Knife has an overall length of 11.25 inches, and it weighs 12 ounces; 17 ounces with the sheath. Made in the USA.
