Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The TOPS Baja4.5-02 Knife is an excellent field / camp knife that features a 4.88 inch drop point fixed blade made of 1095 steel, .160 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. The blade has a 4.50 inch cutting edge, a full flat grind, Tungsten Cerakote finish, and notched thumb rest and finger guard for secure grip. The Baja 4.5 Knife has full tang construction for strength; ergonomic green canvas Micarta scales with integral bow drill divot and a lined lanyard hole. A genuine leather dangler sheath is included. The TOPS Knives Baja 4.5 Knife has an overall length of 9.25 inches, and it weighs 6.2 ounces; 12 ounces with the sheath. Made in the USA.
