The AH906 TOPS Alaskan Harpoon Knife is a versatile outdoor essential that features a 6.75 inch harpoon style fixed blade made of 1095 steel, .250 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. The blade has a 5.87 inch cutting edge, a swedged spine, non reflective Black Traction Coat, and long notched thumb rest for secure grip. The Alaskan Harpoon Knife has full tang construction for strength; ergonomic black linen Micarta scales, a pronounced choil and a notched area on the spine for secure purchase, and a lanyard hole. A black ballistic nylon sheath with MOLLE back is included. The TOPS Knives Alaskan Harpoon has an overall length of 12 inches, and it weighs 15.2 ounces; 20 ounces with the sheath. Made in the USA.

The knife is thick, the aesthetic of it is appealing. The functionality of it allows for close in detailed cuts, a moderate grip for general tasks or fighting and a lower handle grip for chopping. It will be my primary outdoor knife. You won't be disappointed buying this.
