Spyderco Knives: Spyderco Byrd Knife, Meadowlark2 FRN, SP-BY04PBK2

The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Meadowlark2 FRN Byrd knife that features a 2.9" blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. The blade of this Spyderco Byrd knife has a full flat grind, a notched thumb ramp and choil, and a comet shaped hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black fiberglass reinforced nylon handle, 3.95" closed, has skeletonized nested liners for strength, Bi-Directional texturing for secure grip, a Boye dent lockback and a lanyard hole. A side to side and end to end reversible steel pocket clip is included with this Byrd Knife. The Spyderco Meadowlark2 FRN Byrd Knife with plain edge blade has an overall length of 6.85" and weighs 2.5 ounces. Made in China.

Great knife at a great price! 04/18/2016

Was looking for a replacement for my Gerber LST II knife which has been discontinued :( Bought this Spyderco Byrd Meadowlark 2 as the closest thing to it in size, design & function. This Meadowlark 2 is an excellent knife, even at full MSRP. It came shaving sharp, and with only a slightly gritty action, which was easily cleaned & smoothed out. I removed the pocket clip since I carry it in my pocket. It is slightly larger than the LST II, but still small enough for in-the-pocket carry. I liked it so much that I bought a second one!
