Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The C258PCBL Spyderco Stretch 2 XL Lightweight features a 3.99-inch drop point blade made of CPM SPY27 stainless steel, .118 inches thick, with a straight spine, a full flat grind, notched thumb ramp, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The cobalt blue FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle, 4.97-inches closed, has ergonomic contouring and Bi-Directional Texturing for secure grip, sturdy back lock, a lanyard hole, and a 4 position steel pocket clip. The Spyderco Stretch 2 XL Lightweight Knife has an overall open length of 8.9-inches and it weighs 2.7 ounces. Made in Japan.
