Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. UPDATED CQI VERSION - CPM S45VN blade steel!

This MODIFIED Spyderco Para 3 Knife features a 3" modified clip point blade made of CPM S45VN premium stainless steel with a non reflective black finish, a notched choil and thumb ramp for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The contoured, textured G10 handle has been replaced with the AWT Agent Para 3 SKINNY Custom Anodized Scales. The Para 3 has a closed length of 4.27", comes with a nested Compression Lock, a lined lanyard hole, and a side to side and end to end reversible steel pocket clip. The Spyderco Para 3 Knife has an overall open length of 7.27", and it weighs 3.1 ounces. Made in the USA.

SUCH A SOLID KNIFE! Seen this Para 3 and had to have it. Here’s what you get.
- AWT anodized Al skinny scales are amazing. Really solid feel with great ergo, plus the color of the scales are pretty much a 95% match of the product photo.
- Plus to these scales are that they make breaking down the P3 so easy. The scales delete the right side liner. This allows the lanyard barrel (known for being a PITA) to release from the right side scale with no effort at all.
- The knife out of the box felt like it was a bit tighter than a stock knife, but should break in on its own over time.
* I did break down the knife, polish the pivot washers, apply a bit of lube, and tune it to perfection.
- Now the action is so smooth and has a rock solid lock up. No blade wobble at all, perfectly center. Feels like it’s on bearings now.
- Wish they swapped clip to a deep clip

- Overall, this is a beautiful, solid P3 that fits the hands great, & can easily be tuned to make it feel like a knife 2x the co
