Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. Please keep in mind that items that receive this service are non-refundable. If you feel we have made a mistake, please contact us and we will make it right.

Sharpening Choil - $5.00

Sharpening Choil Add-On - A small notch that is ground into the edge where it meets the unsharpened part of the blade. This can help with keeping your sharpened edge straight. People either hate ‘em or love ‘em. This procedure can also be done at home with a small round diamond file.

Bronze Heat Colored Existing Hardware - $15.00

Bronze Heat Colored Hardware Add-On - The knife is disassembled and a small amount of heat is applied to the hardware to change it to a bronze color. This includes any screws, spacers, lanyard tubes, or clips that are satin. Acid stonewashed clips will not be heat colored.

Acid Stonewash Blade / Clip (Satin ONLY) - $25.00

Acid Stonewash Blade / Clip (Satin ONLY) Add-On - Blades and satin finished clips (not coated) are acid stonewashed. Wire clips cannot be acid stonewashed. Sharpening is included with this add-on. Please allow 10 business days for completion.

The C241CFP Spyderco Kapara knife is a stunning gent's EDC, designed by Australian custom knifemaker Alistair Phillips and based on his Redback custom folder, that features a 3.60 inch modified drop point blade made of CPM S30V stainless steel, .118 inches thick, with a full flat grind and the Spyderco Trademark Round Hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The slender black carbon fiber handle, 4.65 inches closed, has ergonomic contours for secure, comfortable grip, full skeletonized stainless steel liners, sturdy Compression Lock, a lanyard hole, and a side to side reversible wire clip mounted at the butt end. The Spyderco Kapara Knife has an overall open length of 8.25 inches, and it weighs 3.4 ounces. Made in Taiwan.

First like to say that KnivesPlus was the only retailer to have stock and shipping was prompt. The Kapara is every bit as good as the pundits claim. The carbon fiber is first rate. The craftsmanship as a whole is fantastic. My only cons concern the accessibility of the compression lock as it wears on your index fingertip. While the carbon fiber scales look fantastic, they are tough to get a firm purchase on while flicking open. With that said I firmly recommend, as the knife looks even better in person.

i’m a big spyderco and I love the design of the carbon fiber the blade shape. The ergonomics is perfect. Centering is always great on spyderco. I would say the only complaint is the wire clip I would think with the red backspacer and the carbon fiber they would’ve used a better clip. I may change it out. I love buying my knives from knives plus, I always get my blades acid stonewashed. They do a phenomenal job and it’s part of the reason why I buy from them.

I ordered my Kapara and added the Sharpening Choil, Bronze Heat Treated Hardware, and Stonewashed Blade. It's perfect. These guys did a fantastic job. The bronze-colored hardware with the stonewash matches perfectly and gives the knife somewhat of a rustic look. It matches the carbon fiber scales really well. It's awesome.
