The illustrated Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Para Military 3 Knife that features a 3" modified clip point blade made of CPM S45VN stainless steel. The blade of this Spyderco Knife has a notched choil and thumb ramp for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The contoured, textured Black G10 handle, 4.27" closed, comes with a nested Compression Lock, and a lined lanyard hole. A side to side and end to end reversible steel pocket clip is included with this Spyderco Knife. The Spyderco Para Military 3 Knife has an overall length of 7.27" when open, and it weighs 3 ounces. Made in the USA.

Classic Spyderco Quality02/08/2017 ByStacey My boyfriend carries a knife daily, usually reaching for a Spyderco knife even with lots of other options in his collection. He had the Paramilitary 2 and sadly, after much abuse, the blade was broken when it took a dive off of piece of large machinery and got run over on a 4-lane highway. When the Para3 was announced, he Was pumped and I knew I had to get him one! Knives Plus had a pre-order option and when they got them in stock we were notified promtly. Shipping took only a couple days(wahoo!!) and my boyfriend is very happy with this knife! The compression lock is a really great feature for fast deployment and it hinges back closed with a bit of a snap too- so it's nice to know that it can't come loose on its' own. The edge on the blade is KILLER- as is true with all Spyderco knives out of the box. The shape and size of the handle are really spot on- even for my smaller hands- it's very comfortable and easy to maneuver. Buy it, you won't regret it!
The perfect EDC mix11/04/2021 ByLuke I own several knives from a wide variety of knife makers. Yet, this Spyderco Para 3 finds its way into my pocket more often than not. Why? It's the perfect blend of ergonomics, blade length, blade steel composition, edge retention, and value for my money.
I don't mean to knock other knife makers or Spyderco models here since there's plenty of love to go around. I'm merely pointing out that when it comes to a knife meeting one's EDC needs, this puppy checks off most of my requirements. This knife not babied, but it is deeply loved for its toughness and reliability. That's why I invested in a backup as well.

Better than Bugout05/30/2021 ByDylan Dwyer I spent wayyyy too many hours trying to find my perfect knife under $200 for EDC, camping, working— something that would stay sharp, wouldn’t rust, and feels worth the price tag. I first bought the benchmade bugout—liked it for a week or so but it did not at all feel worth the $150. Returned and got this in s45vn! Perfect steel for my needs!! Knife feels really well built, blade was centered (unlike the bm), g10 texture feels good and the knife CUTS! I prefer non coated blades I also learned. Pocket clip is the only issue esp for tip up carry. Still five stars
Great!10/19/2021 ByGRANT NELSON This is my first compression lock by Spyderco. The lock up is strong and convenient. I would certainly suggest this knife to just about anyone (unless you need an extreme outdoor hard use knife). But for many people this knife is the ticket. I would also suggest grabbing a lynch clip or similar because the clip that comes with the para 3 isn’t deep carry. That would be my only complaint. This is to say also that there is nothing inherently wrong with the clip that comes with the knife.
Wow09/10/2022 BySteven Cooper At the start had a few questions that were answered right away. Put in the order for this knife and accidentally added sharpening that was already included in the acid stonewash. They emailed me and let me know, informed me I won’t be charged for the extra service I added by accident. Honesty is a big deal for me from a company. The blade and all custom work is top notch. I will definitely be using them again for all my knife purchases.
