The QS130-B QSP Penguin is a compact value price everyday carry knife that features a 3.06 inch sheepfoot blade made of Chinese D2 tool steel with a two tone satin finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The jean micarta handle, 4.00 inches closed, has stainless steel liners for strength, sturdy liner lock, a lanyard hole and a side to side reversible deep carry stainless steel pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The QSP Penguin Knife has an overall open length of 7.06 inches, and it weighs 3.14 ounces. Made in China.

I collect knives I am also a blade Smith out of all the knives I’ve ever purchased in my life this QSP/penguin really blew me away I heard nothing but good things about it and I admittedly purchased the knife some what impulsively the shipping was great as well this knife far surpassed my expectations, I opted for for the D2 steel with the blue Jean micarta, Everything from The ergonomics/aesthetics, action and solid lock up smooth both opening and dropping shut, just everything about it it’s a total bang for your buck I honestly think I purchased a $35 knife that blows away a lot of knives that cost over $150 or more I’ll be purchasing another one the folks over at knives plus are great great customer service their STROP is amazing as well that’s pretty much my review I love my QSP/penguin… Just buy this knife you won’t be disappointed

Excellent budget knife. Super smooth, good lock up, blade nicely centered and came super sharp. I love this style of blade so I was excited to get it. Feels great in my hand. The Micarta can be a bit slick, not as slick as smooth Ti or Al but not as much grip as G10 either. I anticipated that so, it wasn't a surprise. I think I also talked my neighbor into getting one as well.

This was my first purchase at KnivesPlus. I couldn't be happier. Very reasonable shipping rate. Arrived a day earlier than expected and the package was in perfect condition. I will put KnivesPlus on my list of sites I look at first when looking for a new knife.

Bought two, one as a gift to my father. He really likes the Penguin. I kept one for myself of course and was somewhat disappointed because this in my opinion would have been the perfect budget knife if it only was a flipper. Don’t get me wrong, with the slightest flick of the thumb stud it swings into the lock solidly. The micarta feels great in the hand and the blade action is very smooth. Just buy it, how can you pass up such a nice looking knife at this price point. I’m thinking about ordering a few more just for Christmas gifts. Thanks Knivesplus for the amazing shipping on all my knife orders!!!

Fantastic cheap knife 04/25/2020

Have been wanting a sheepsfoot folder that want a stockman style knife and this fit the bill perfect. None of the 20 knives I own were more than $50 and this one is the smoothest action of them all. It also comes quite sharp out of the box. Sharp enough to slice through my thumb nail and take the end of my thumb off while being over zealous. It's also sized great. I don't have large hands, medium gloves usually, but feel like most knives are just a little on the small side. This isn't so large that it would qualify as a camping only knife though.

After seeing Excellent reviews by Metal Com and other You Tube knife enthusiasts, I was expecting a lot. I got what I expected. The grind is outstanding, The action is fantastic as well.

I like everything about the Penguin, and I have a bunch of really great knives

I also paid for the sharpen add on; beautiful job I'm considering using Knives Plus whenever I need any of my knives sharpened

I recommend the Penguin I recommend their edge I recommend Knives Plus
