Old timer 06/27/2026
By Cameron Guillory
Good things first, I purchased 2 old timer pocket knives (you know, the kind I got when I was young!) It arrived early and package well. Came Good and sharp as I expected.
Now for the bad. None of this has to do with Knives Plus. They are a fantastic company to deal with. I'm older so I remember when Old Timer was pretty much the gold standard of pocket knives. While it's still not a "bad" knife, the fit and finish is not the heirloom quality that I'm used to from the original Old Timer knives. The brass pins were not ground flush and stuck out enough to catch on your fingers and material. I guess I'm just to picky in my old age.

This product was shipped out so quickly. The engraving was perfect (down the blade), and it was seated in in-tact packaging. I’ll definitely buy from here again.
