This MODIFIED Spyderco knife is the latest iteration of the popular Chaparral Knife - a perfect everyday carry that features an ACID STONEWASHED 2.80" leaf shaped blade made of CTS XHP stainless steel with a full flat grind, a notched choil and thumb ramp for secure grip, and a large Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The slim profile gray FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle HAS BEEN RIT DYED BURGUNDY, 3.60" closed, has Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texturing for secure purchase, a sturdy lockback, and a side to side reversible wire pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The MODIFIED Spyderco Chaparral Lightweight Knife has an overall open length of 6.40", and it weighs only 2.0 ounces. Made in Taiwan.

The Ron Burgundy Chaparral is a must have for serious blade collectors. The scales are a deep red(burgundy) and dressed with a CTS-XHP steel blade. The knife comes with a reversible wire clip (shipped knife point up carry.)The blade is lightweight and finished with a medium stonewash. If you are familiar with Spyderco blades, you can be confident in a solid product and also great customer service from KnivesPlus. All Chaparrals are NOT created equal. This is a must have for any collection or gentleman carry edc.

I have purchased some of modified knives from KnivesPlus before but this one takes the cake! This by far is one of my most favorite knives. The Ron Burgundy deep red burgundy scales, acid wash blade and back spacer are a great match that have been done flawlessly! You will not be disappointed with this knife. KnivesPlus, please make a modified version of this in blue!
Pros- Fit, finish, attention to detail and blade re-sharpening!
Cons- None!

Burgundy Chaparral arrived quickly and was a great deal. Knives plus did a fantastic job on the ano and blade finish. Highly recommend this knife and company!

I love this Blade so much. Laser sharp, the FRN mod and the acid wash on the blade look awesome. This is going to get a lot of pocket time.
