Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. MODIFIED Benchmade Mini Bugout White 533 Knife - Satin Blade - KP-533-2

The MODIFIED 533 Benchmade Mini Bugout White is a scaled down version of the fiendishly popular Bugout EDC that features a 2.82 inch drop point blade made of CPM S30V stainless steel, .09 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60. The blade has a satin finish, a top swedge to lessen weight and dual orange thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The slim orange Grivory handle has been replaced with the white scales from the 533BK-1, 3.70 inches closed, has checkered texturing for secure grip, sturdy AXIS Lock, a lanyard hole and a side to side reversible deep carry mini clip mounted at the butt end. The MODIFIED Benchmade Mini Bugout has an overall open length of 6.49 inches, and it weighs 1.5 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.

From the Benchmade website: The result of overwhelming feedback, the Bugout has been scaled down in the form of the new 533 Mini Bugout. Available in two different colorways, the Mini Bugout maintains the same material configuration as its full-sized counterparts in a 1.5 oz package. With a closed length of 3.7", this ultralight folder is small enough for a mint tin, yet big enough for adventure.

Being one of them kids that took apart everything, I grew into a man that… takes part everything! Thank you KnivesPlus for making me the knife I would have made eventually for literally TWICE the price. My Mini B arrived looking and feeling as if it came directly from Benchmade. No play, perfectly centered blade, and a factory snug lock-up. You do a great service and although this is my first purchase from you, it will NOT be my last!

I had considered buying both mini bugouts to swap scales. Very happy when I found knives plus offered this option for a nominal cost.

This is my second Benchmade. The first (a mini grip bought elsewhere) had a slight burr. The bugout from knives plus was ready to go.

Definitely a positive experience buying here.

I love the look of white scales with the satin blade and orange accents. The color combo reminds me of a stormtrooper from Star Wars — the ones with the orange shoulder pad.

The knife looks awesome and functions perfectly. Shipping was fast. I will definitely be buying again from Knives Plus. Thank you!

Really wanted a benchmade 533 with a satin blade and Knives + was the ONLY one who carried it. It was at a great price too. Love my purchase. Will buy from Knives Plus again!
