The MODIFIED 533 Benchmade Mini Bugout Red Dragon is a scaled down version of the fiendishly popular Bugout EDC that features a 2.82 inch drop point blade made of CPM S30V stainless steel, .09 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60. The blade has a satin finish, a top swedge to lessen weight and dual orange thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The slim orange Grivory handle has been Rit dyed red, 3.70 inches closed, has checkered texturing for secure grip, sturdy AXIS Lock, a lanyard hole and a side to side reversible deep carry mini clip mounted at the butt end. We have replaced the orange aluminum thumbstud and standoffs with our KP Produced Black Stainless Steel Thumbstud and Standoffs. The MODIFIED Benchmade Mini Bugout has an overall open length of 6.49 inches, and it weighs 1.5 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.

Available in two different colorways, the Mini Bugout maintains the same material configuration as its full-sized counterparts in a 1.5 oz package. With a closed length of 3.7", this ultralight folder is small enough for a mint tin, yet big enough for adventure.

This is the first knife that my wife said "order that for me". I am so impressed with the color and whoever reassembled this should be hired by Benchmade. The centering is perfect and the action is superb. The mini Bugout feels like a much more impressive knife than the original. Great job KnivesPlus and Benchmade. Now I just have to get one for me!

This knife makes my 11th Bugout. The red rit dye is really nice; a little brighter red than the web page pic shows, awesome nevertheless. Arrived quickly. Very happy with the purchase. I am now very interested in some of the other modified models.

I was a little skeptical how a dye would look over orange handles, but it looks great. Mini bugout is perfect edc size/weight for me but I was not fond of the orange original. I will be trying one of their more custom models next. Glad I found them.

Awesome knife bug had really bad lock stick due to the titanium axis lock. After much fidgeting it finally became much smoother.
