The illustrated Benchmade Knife is the MODIFIED Benchmade Mini Griptilian Knife, designed by Mel Pardue. This MODIFIED Mini Griptilian knife features a 2.91" REGROUND sheepfoot blade made of S30V stainless steel, .100" thick. The blade of this Benchmade knife has a flat grind, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and a blade hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black Valox handle, 3.87" closed, has double stainless steel liners, ambidextrous AXIS lock and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Benchmade knife. The MODIFIED Benchmade Mini Griptilian Knife with REGROUND sheepsfoot blade has an overall open length of 6.78", and weighs 2.56 ounces. Made in the USA.

I have gotten two of these mini grips, one in s30v and one in 20cv both reground wonderfully. Turns the sheepsfoot blade into much more of a reverse tanto like on the 940. Gives a lot of control at the tip of the blade, handles like a wharncliffe with a bit of belly.

On my 20cv blade I got the acid stonewashing option as well, came out nice and even. I've been getting a lot of use out of both, can't suggest them enough!
