Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. Kizer Knives: Kizer Vanguard Splinter Knife, N690 Blade with Black G10 Handle, Ki-V3457N1


The V3457N1 Vanguard Splinter, designed by TomCat Knives, is a perfect gent sized EDC that features a 3.34 inch sheepfoot blade made of Bohler N690 stainless steel, .11 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60, a flat grind and top swedge, stonewash finish, and a flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The slim black G10 handle, 4.14 inches closed, has milled texturing and ergonomic contours for comfort and secure grip, ball bearing pivot support for smooth opening, a liner lock, steel liners and a contrasting G10 back spacer for strength, a lanyard hole, and a side to side reversible stainless steel pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Kizer Vanguard Splinter Knife has an overall open length of 7.48 inches, and it weighs 2.36 ounces. Imported from China.
