The illustrated Kershaw Knife is the Kershaw Ember Knife, designed by Rick Hinderer, that features a 2" modified clip point blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. The blade of this Kershaw knife has a non reflective matte gray Titanium Carbo Nitride coat, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, a Flipper and SpeedSafe® assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The 410 stainless steel handle, 2.8" closed, has a gray Titanium Carbo Nitride finish and a frame lock. A three position steel pocket clip is included with this Kershaw Knife. The Kershaw Ember Knife has an overall open length of 4.8", and it weighs 2.2 ounces. Imported from China.

For easy opening, the Ember features SpeedSafe® assisted opening and a handy, built-in flipper. The modified clip-point blade has an ergonomic top curve, which gives the user a convenient place to position an index finger when guiding the knife's edge in a close-cutting situation. A sturdy frame lock secures the blade in position for safe use.
