The Kershaw Atmos Knife is a striking gent's everyday carry, designed by Dmitry Sinkevich, that features a 3" modified drop point blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a two tone satin finish, a weight reducing top swedge, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and a flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black G10 handle, 4" closed, has an eye catching chamfered carbon fiber inlay, an oversized pivot with KVT ball bearing system for smooth opening, a liner lock, a notched black backspacer with large integral lanyard hole, and a side to side reversible deep carry pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Kershaw Atmos Knife has an overall open length of 6.9", and it weighs 2 ounces.

Sharp looks and sharp edges 04/04/2018

This knife is a great budget edc. The weight is amazingly light, the deep carry clip is wonderful. The blade deploys faster than most assisted knives. The fit is very nice for the price. The finish leaves something to be desired. The design is very angular with sharp lines. This is felt in hand. The flipper tab has very sharp jimping and quickly tears up your finger, especially with the pronounced detent that allows for the smooth deployment. I had to disassemble the knife and smooth all the edges of the handle and hot the flipper tab with a deeper to soften the sharp edges and jimping. If not for this the blade would be 5 stars. But considering the price it's still well executed.

It opens and closes easily with one hand. Sharp enough for all ordinary tasks. Small enough and light enough to carry all the time, and not get in the way in your pocket. Looks nice, feels nice in the hand. And all at a very reasonable price.

Not for jobs where you need a big knife, but this will do almost anything a pocket knife should do.
