Hogue Mysto Knife - Tumbled Clip Point - Blue Canyon Richlite

The 24456 Hogue Mysto (Water) Manual Folder is a lightweight everyday carry that features a 3.4-inch clip point blade made of CPM MagnaCut stainless steel, .115-inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 62-64, stone tumbled finish, notched thumb rest for secure grip, and light blue anodized dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The slim profile Blue Canyon Richlite handle, 4.4-inches closed, has the ambidextrous ABLE Lock®, a lanyard hole, green anodized titanium backspacers, and a side to side reversible deep-carry stainless steel pocket clip mounted at the butt end. This Hogue Mysto Knife has an overall open length of 7.8-inches, and it weighs 2.6 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.

The knife is extremely similar to my Benchmade Osborne in size, weight, design. Overall it compares favorably in smoothness of operation, lock up and release. In fact, it doesn’t have any of the lock stick that both my Bugout and Osborne came with out of the box. On the other side of the coin though, I find the thumb stud on the Osborne easier to engage than on the Mysto. Excellent knife for the money.
