I bought this because if the price point, while the length of this steel and the bite or coarseness is correct. The diameter is very narrow. This would serve well as a kitchen steel, but not as a steel for use in a shop setting. Quality is on par for Forchner, but it is definitely too small. Photos are deceiving. I wish there was something in the photo for scale so dimensions were easier to observe.
