Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The EK50 Ek Short Clip Point Knife, designed by John Ek and produced in the KA-BAR Orleans, NY facility, features a 5.06 inch clip point fixed blade made of 1095 Cro-Van steel, .165 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58, black finish with Ek Commando / KA-BAR stamp, and an integral finger guard for secure grip. The Ek Short Clip Point has full tang construction for strength, removable black Ultramid scales with ergonomic contours, and a lanyard hole. A MOLLE compatible Celcon sheath is included. The Ek Short Clip Point Knife has an overall length of 9.25 inches, and it weighs 10.4 ounces. Made in the USA.
