Tiny CRKT Squid with an Assist! The 2485K CRKT Squid Compact Assisted Knife, designed by Lucas Burnley of Bend, Oregon, is a little brother assisted variant of the popular Squid EDC that features a 1.75 inch drop point blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, .11 inch thick, with a non reflective black stonewash finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, dual thumb studs, flipper and Assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black stonewash stainless steel handle, 2.93 inches closed, has the IKBS ball bearing pivot system for smooth deployment, a sturdy frame lock, a handy lanyard hole and removable pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The CRKT Squid Compact Assisted has an overall open length of 4.65 inches, and it weighs 2.80 ounces.
