The CRKT Squid with an Assist! The 2493 CRKT Squid Assisted Black Knife, designed by Lucas Burnley of Bend, Oregon, is a slightly larger, assisted variant of the popular Squid EDC that features a 2.37 inch spear point blade made of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel, .11 inch thick, with a non reflective black stonewash finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, dual thumb studs, flipper and Assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black stonewash stainless steel handle, 3.59 inches closed, has the IKBS ball bearing pivot system for smooth deployment, a sturdy frame lock, a handy lanyard hole and removable pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The CRKT Squid Assisted Black has an overall open length of 5.94 inches, and it weighs 3.70 ounces. Made in China.
