Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The illustrated Benchmade Knife is the Benchmade North Fork Knife that features a 2.97" drop point blade made of CPM S30V stainless steel, .114" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60. The blade of this Benchmade Knife has a notched spine for secure grip, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The contoured Dymondwood handle, 3.90" closed, has stainless steel liners for strength, the ambidextrous AXIS lock and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Benchmade Knife. The Benchmade North Fork Knife with Dymondwood handle has an overall open length of 6.97", and it weighs 3.16 ounces. Made in the USA.
