The Griptilian Series in S30V! The 555 Benchmade Mini Griptilian is a compact workhorse of an EDC, designed by Mel Pardue, that features a 2.91 inch sheepfoot blade made of CPM S30V premium stainless steel, .100 inches thick, with a notched thumb ramp for secure grip, and a hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black GFN (glass filled nylon) handle, 3.87 inches closed, has checkered texturing and notches for secure purchase, sturdy AXIS Lock, and a side to side reversible pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Benchmade 555 Mini Griptilian Knife has an overall open length of 6.78 inches, and it weighs 2.68 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.

I’ve been meaning to add a Benchmade knife to my collection and I’m glad I did!
The shipping was very fast and the packaging was very well done.
I decided to take advantage of the knife sharpening for a small additional charge. All I can say is if you opt for the sharpening, be really careful with the knife until you get comfortable with it. I like my knives sharp and Knives Plus did an amazing job getting my blade razor sharp.
All in all a great knife and a company that I will definitely be purchasing my next knife from.
