Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The 565BK-02 Benchmade Mini Freek is a "Super" version of the popular Mini Freek EDC that features a 3.00 inch drop point blade made of the durable CPM M4 super steel, .104 inches thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 62-64. The blade has a black cerakote finish, a notched thumb ramp for secure purchase, and black dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The eye-catching black and gray textured G10 handle, 4.05 inches closed, has a red base layer with ergonomic contouring for secure grip, True Red barrel spacers and stainless liners for strength, sturdy AXIS Lock, a lanyard hole, and a side to side reversible pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Benchmade 565BK-02 Mini Freek Knife has an overall open length of 7.04 inches, and it weighs 2.89 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.
