Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. Benchmade Lowden Knife - Spear Point - Crater Blue Aluminum

The illustrated Benchmade Knife is the Lowden, that features a 2.79-inch spear point blade made of M390 stainless steel, 0.09-inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-61. The blade of this Benchmade knife has a natural stainless finish and a flipper tab for ambidextrous one hand opening. The contoured Crater Blue anodized Aluminum handle, 4.05-inches closed, has grooves and notches for secure grip and the ambidextrous AXIS Lock. A side to side reversible FDE PVD pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Benchmade knife. The Benchmade Lowden Knife has an overall open length of 6.81-inches, and weighs 2.99 ounces. Made in the USA.
