The Griptilian Series in S30V! The 550 Benchmade Griptilian is a workhorse of an EDC, designed by Mel Pardue, that features a 3.45 inch sheepfoot blade made of S30V premium stainless steel, .115 inches thick, with a notched thumb ramp for secure grip, and a hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black GFN (glass filled nylon) handle, 4.62 inches closed, has checkered texturing and notches for secure purchase, sturdy AXIS Lock, and a side to side reversible pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Benchmade 550 Griptilian Knife has an overall open length of 8.07 inches, and it weighs 3.79 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.

Knives Plus knocked out of the park 4 me. The shipping was fast and sezzle made it easy for me to check out. The Griptilian is a k ife I needed to get for my collection. I know the Sheepfoot model won't be around for much longer get and I really like the way it looks & feels. Next 4 me is to mod. it, make it my own. I love shopping with Knives Plus.

Benchmade makes great quality products. This is a great knife I am very pleased with it so far. High quality knife for mid level price. Opens and closes smoothly. Great texture on scales makes for secure grip. Came very sharp right out of the box. Liked the first one so much I bought a second.
