Benchmade Knives: Benchmade Bugout Knife, Gray Blade and Ranger Green Handle, BM-535GRY1

The Benchmade Bugout is a slim, lightweight everyday carry knife that is equally suitable for a pair of dress pants or a backpack. The 535GRY-1 Bugout features a 3.24 inch drop point blade made of CPM S30V stainless steel, .090 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60, a non reflective gray finish with a top swedge and dual tan thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The ergonomic Ranger Green Grivory handle, 4.22 inches closed, has checkered areas for secure grip, the ambidextrous AXIS Lock, a large lanyard hole and a side to side reversible discrete carry pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Benchmade Bugout Knife has an overall open length of 7.46 inches, and it weighs only 1.85 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.

Great knife, better service! 09/17/2020

First off, I purchased this as a graduation gift, so I can't review it as far as use goes. The fit and finish is great. The blade is nicely centered and very, very sharp. The action is smooth. The knife is so incredibly light, but I believe it it will hold up to moderate (reasonable) use without any issues. It seems to be a great knife for EDC. May have to get me one as well

Last, but certainly not least, I cannot speak highly enough about Knives Plus. As I mentioned, I purchased this as a gift. I placed the order on a Monday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to receive it on Thursday afternoon- standard shipping, no less. I requested that the blade be laser marked.
