Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The MODIFIED 535BK-2 Bugout features a 3.24 inch drop point blade made of CPM S30V stainless steel, .090 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60, a non reflective black finish with a top swedge and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The ergonomic black CF-Elite (carbon fiber reinforced nylon polymer) handle have been replaced with the AWT Archon Bugout Custom Anodized Scales. The Bugout has a closed length of 4.22 inches, an ambidextrous AXIS Lock, a large lanyard hole and a side to side reversible mini deep carry pocket clip mounted at the butt end. This Benchmade Bugout Knife has an overall open length of 7.46 inches, and it weighs only 2.4 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.
