Zero Tolerance Knives: ZT 0055 Knife, ZT-0055

The ZT 0055 Knife - a collaboration between ZT and Gus Cecchini of GTC Knives, features a 3.75" modified clip point blade made of S35VN stainless steel, .156" thick, with unusual compound grind lines, a stonewash finish, a hidden flipper with SLT actuation, and the KVT ball bearing system for smooth one hand opening. The bead blast titanium handle, 5" closed, has 3D machined grooves and contours for secure grip, louver style pivot detailing and contrasting sky blue aluminum backspacer for visual interest, sturdy titanium frame lock with hardened steel lockbar insert, a lanyard hole, and a side to side reversible titanium pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Zero Tolerance 0055 Knife has an overall open length of 8.75", and it weighs 5 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.

Nice looking and pretty high quality knife. The milling on the handles is top notch and the blade looks cool. The custom pivot is nice. Action is smooth, fast, and lockup is solid with no play. If you like the look of this knife I think it's a good buy. My only qualm is that the handle screws are threaded directly into the titanium frame which could be a point of failure if you accidentally over tighten the screw. The clip is kind of lame as well. On a knife like this I'd like a sculpted clip to top off the design.
