TOPS Knives: TOPS Dawn Warrior Knife, Black Linen Micarta, TK-DW33
The DW-33 TOPS Dawn Warrior is an awesome EDC utility knife that features a 5.5 inch Hunter's Point fixed blade made of 1095 steel, .190 inch thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. The blade has a 4.25 inch cutting edge, non reflective Black Traction Coat, a wrist lanyard hole, notched thumb ramp and spine notches for secure grip and precise control. The Dawn Warrior has full tang construction for strength; black linen micarta scales with chamfered contours for comfort, and an extended pommel with integral lanyard hole. A black Kydex sheath with rotating spring steel clip (for multiple carry options) is included. The TOPS Knives Dawn Warrior has an overall length of 9.75 inches, and it weighs 9.4 ounces; 12.6 ounces with the sheath. Made in the USA.

On a trip to the the Peruvian Amazon, Jerry carried the Dawn Warrior and wrote: "La Selva (THE JUNGLE),however, was a real proving ground. The Dawn Warrior was my only blade and it was constantly wet with a combination of rain, humidity and human perspiration. It cut everything from paracord, rope and vines to the sleeves off of two long sleeved T-shirts. Upon Jerry's' return from the jungle, he called TOPS and said "I think it might be even better suited for self defense" and so the story went on.
