Finish will slightly vary and oils can contribute. Acetone will remove oils and bring back colors.

The Knives Plus replacement titanium scales for the Benchmade Bugout are precision milled from 6AL4A titanium and feature a stonewashed finish. The Warthog marking is then applied. A variety of colors can be seen. Polished - eyes and teeth. Black - rivets, lines, star and bars. Blue - opening of mouth. These scales were created to replace the original Bugout scales. Made in China.

I love the look and feel of these scales. One thing to note is of you have g10 scales you need to order their hardware kit for the correct backspaces. Knifesplus helped me with my question about this very quickly. They have awesome customer service.

Scales look awesome, price is a bit iffy but, I will be using these with my edc so I can see spending this much for a quality product, from a respectable company.
