Introducing the C229PBK Spyderco Shaman Lightweight Knife. This Shaman features a 3.58-inch leaf shaped blade made of CTS BD1N stainless steel, .145-inches thick, with a satin finish, full-flat grind and top swedge, a notched choil and thumb rest for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The contoured black FRN handle, 4.7-inches closed, has chamfered edges for comfort, nested skeletonized stainless steel liners, Compression Lock, lanyard hole, and a multi position steel pocket clip. The Spyderco Shaman Lightweight Knife has an overall open length of 8.25-inches, and it weighs 4.8 ounces. Made in the USA.

The handle scales of the Shaman Lightweight feature the same comfortably radiused shape as the original, but are injection molded from resilient fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). This reduces the knife's overall weight by nine percent and adds a pebbled texture for an enhanced grip. The scales house nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners that provide outstanding structural strength and form the backbone of the knife's high-strength Compression lock mechanism. That ultra-reliable lock supports a full-flat ground CTS BD1N stainless steel blade, which is available in both PlainEdge and fully serrated SpyderEdge configurations. A four-position pocket clip completes the package, allowing this remarkable knife to be carried tip-up or tip-down on either side of the body.
