Knife is sharpened to a razor edge. This service is done on a 2" x 72" Burr King and finished on a Baldor buffer using a leather wheel. Blades are kept cool so overheating is not an issue. The C81GPFGR2 Spyderco Para Military 2 Knife is a limited Sprint Run edition that features a blade made of S45VN stainless steel. Sure to be a hit with users and collectors alike, this Para Military 2 has a 3.47 inch modified clip point blade made of the aforementioned CPM S45VN stainless steel, .145 inches thick, with a satin finish, full flat grind, notched choil and thumb ramp for secure grip, and the Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The ergonomic forest green G10 handle, 4.82 inches closed, has machined Diamond Arc™ Texturing for secure purchase, sturdy Compression Lock, a lanyard hole, and a side to side and end to end reversible stainless steel pocket clip. The Spyderco Para Military 2 has an overall open length of 8.29 inches and it weighs 3.8 ounces. Limited quantities; made in the USA in Golden, Colorado.
From the Spyderco 2020 Reveal Product Guide: CPM® S45VN is a martensitic stainless steel specifically created to transcend its predecessors. Its carefully tuned chemistry promotes the formation of more chromium carbides, while leaving larger amounts of free chromium available for corrosion resistance. Together with a finely tuned formula of niobium, nitrogen, vanadium and carbon, its composition offers a superior balance of edge retention, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and toughness. All of these qualities are further enhanced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, which ensures an exceptionally homogenous grain structure.

I was glad that I got in on this sprint run. My transaction with Knives Plus went very smooth. I did pay extra for preferred shipping. I would suggest this now, as USPS seem to be overwhelmed at this time. I would recommend trading with Knives Plus. I will trade with them again the future

The texturing on the forest green scales is just awesome; one of the best they have ever done; gives plenty of grip, but not as harsh as their FRN style can be over time. The blade steel appears to also be everything they claim. This one definitely stays in my rotational use!

Quick shipping and email alert that enabled me to get my first sprint.

Knife is excellent, some complain the g10 is too grippy but no problem for me. Really nice factor edge but a bit uncentered and stiff action. Can be corrected by adjusting tension in screws.
