Introducing the Spyderco Balance Knife. Originally introduced in 2010, this model, designed by Ed Schempp, was discontinued and is now back as a limited-edition Sprint Run addition to the SPY27 family. This knife features a 1.98-inch leaf blade made from CPM SPY27 stainless steel, .08-inch thick, with a full-slat grind, a thumb hole for opening, and a notched finger choil for secure grip. The unique handle, 2.66-inches, is stainless steel with a stainless liner on one side and a Cobalt Blue peel-ply-textured G10 scale on the other. The stainless scale houses a Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) for secure lock-up while both sides provide mounting for left or right-side tip-up carry. The Spyderco Balance weighs 1.4 ounces. Made in Japan.
