Bronze Heat Colored Screws & Acid Stonewash Clip Add-On - The knife is disassembled and a small amount of heat is applied to the hardware to change it to a bronze color. The black paint is stripped off the pocket clip and acid stonewashed to match the blade. Everything is reassembled and tested for fit and finish.

The package came in a regular cardboard box.
the box on the business card and a warning that extreme sharp the blade I successfully cut myself! :)
The acidified surfaces and the unique screws I love!
unfortunately there is no transition between the colors of the grip panels as in the pictures but this is mentioned too!

BUT unfortunately not perfect!

The bolts were not tightened in the handle and no thread fixing was used!!!

In such a category, it should not be possible to make such mistakes, it is not the first spyderco knife that the manufacturer sells there is absolutely perfect! Please pay close attention to assembling it !!!!

If KnivesPlus experienced a spike in sales recently of this acid-washed Wharncliffe it was from my posts on Bladeforums and Reddit. Honestly surprised how many people dug it. Thousands. Seriously. Kudos to KnivesPlus for doing this mod and making me look like I have cool taste. Very satisfied with all aspects of the transaction - from options to shipping. Have several Delica’s but this one out-styles them all.

Love this knife! Already planning on another one. Instantly became my EDC, sharpest knife I own right out of the box. The customization takes a nice knife and makes it a great knife! The added stone wash clip matches the blade perfect only thing is it’s still the factory cruddy shallow clip. I will be replacing the clip to a deep carry clip for sake of not having the butt of the scales hanging out of my pocket. The screws is a nice touch.

My first Delica. I love the special grind on the front and the acid washed blade is nice subdued shade, blends with the black handle. And the screws are s nice accent. Lots of compliments!
