The Boker Plus 01BO767 Lateralus Blackwash Knife - an eye catching flipper folder designed by Tennessee knife maker Jason B (JB) Stout, features a 3.7 inch clip point blade made of D2 steel, .10 inches thick, with blackwash finish, weight reducing top swedge and fuller, notched thumb rest for secure grip, a pronounced choil for choking up on the blade during precision work, and a flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The ergonomic blackwash stainless steel handle, 4.63 inches closed, has decorative milled grooves, pivot with ball bearing support for smooth opening, a sturdy frame lock, a lanyard hole and a removable metal pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Lateralus Blackwash has an overall open length of 8.38 inches, and it weighs 4.9 ounces. Made in China.
From the Boker website: As a former tool maker, Jason B. Stout from Tennessee has all the technical skills for making precise folding knives. He does not claim to create knives for everyone's taste. He instead creates his very own personal style, which we feel is reflected really well in the Lateralus. The extremely sturdy stainless steel frame lock locks the massive, ball-bearing-mounted blade with stone-wash finish which is opened with a flipper. The additional index finger notch makes it possible to hold the knife very short for more precise work. As blade steel he uses the especially edge-retaining D2. Complete stainless steel handle with weight-reducing milling. Handle and blade completely in dark blackwash finish.
