A Righteous Knive 12/16/2017
By Steve L.
Just received the Kizer Feist, which I was reluctant to order given the mixed reviews. Still, the knife looked so cool that I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. Whatever problems that Kizer had in their early production run, they appear to have corrected. The Knife opens smoothly without any "grittiness" that was reported earlier. The only opportunity for improvement that I can see in this knife is to make the flipper surface of the blade more "grippy". The surface is ridged but polished, making it harder to get good contact if your hand is a bit sweaty. I tried to remedy the situation using a Husky 7-piece Precision Needle File Set. Thanks to the wonder that is S35VN blade steel, all I managed to do was dull my files. That said, this is still a righteous knife.
