MODIFIED Flytanium Titanium Scales for Spyderco Para Military 2 Knife - MAYHEM FINISH - KP-63-1

These scales have been ANODIZED by the KnivesPlus Team. We take great care in our modifying/engraving process to guarantee that they function as intended.

ALL SCALES WILL LOOK DIFFERENT, SOMETIMES DRASTICALLY. THIS IS THE NATURE OF THIS TECHNIQUE. WE HAVE ADDED PICTURES OF THE DIFFERENCES YOU MAY SEE.

Also, color will fade over time, this is the nature of anodizing titanium.

The MODIFIED FLY-63 Flytanium Titanium Scales are milled precisely for replacement of the factory G10 scales of the popular Spyderco Para Military 2 Knife (with pocket clip holes for right hand, tip-up carry). These high quality grade 5 titanium custom scales have a distinguished MAYHEM FINISH for unique personalization of your favorite everyday carry. The Spyderco Para Military 2 Knife with Flytanium titanium replacement scales installed weighs in at 4.97 ounces. Made in China.

Scales only; uses existing hardware from the Spyderco Para Military 2 Knife.

Installation of the scales requires some basic tools and knowledge. There are many small parts and pieces on the Para 2 - disassemble at your own risk.

Please Note: Spyderco's Warranty does not cover disassembly of any knife by any person other than Spyderco's Warranty department.

This has to be reviewed in two parts, unfortunately. Knives Plus as a part and Flytanium as the other. I prefer dessert first so we'll start with Knives Plus. The anodization of these titanium scales has been done to perfection. No two sets will ever look the same. They are as the finish is named, absolute Mayhem! Tastefully done, Mayhem. Bronze, blues, purples all flowed and smashed like waves on the beach. Every set I have picked up has been to this experience. I want this finish on all of my knives. But, Flytanium happens. Their scales are of really good quality but I feel like the QC is lacking a little. When it comes time to place your liners into these scales, have a file ready. Your liners will more than likely need slight modification. Every set I've had needed some filing (I just take them to the belt sander, much faster so long as you know what you're doing). That's the only issue I see though. Not an issue for most DIY'ers. I still give these a 10/10. Dont hesitate.
