Never took a knife apart before, but after watching some YouTube decided to try. I am very pleased with the results. At this price I was a little anxious about tolerances, but everything lined up perfectly on reassembly. I definitely needed 2 torx #8 bits to get the screws out of post. The lanyard hole had me scared, but was not too bad with a little rocking (and then took the easy path and replaced with a plug).

Bought and installed for my wife's Para 3 after she complained the factory G10 scales were a little too rough on her hands. According to her 100% improvement. As the saying goes, happy wife, happy life.

They are lighter than they look on website but i don’t know if they will become darker with use or not, they are a bit smoother than a normal micarta handle
