Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Heron Knife, CR-2440
The 2440 CRKT Heron Knife, designed by Lucas Burnley of Bend, Oregon, is a compact workhorse of an EDC that features a 2.93 inch drop point blade made of 8Cr14MoV stainless steel, .15 inch thick, with a non reflective black stonewash finish, top swedge to lessen weight, a notched thumb ramp for secure grip, and a thumb hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The eyecatching handle, 4.09 inches closed, has a green G10 and black carbon fiber front, a stainless steel back with sturdy frame lock, a lanyard hole and a pocket clip. The CRKT Heron has an overall open length of 6.94 inches, and it weighs 3.80 ounces. Made in China.
