The 2471 CRKT Butte Knife, designed by Lucas Burnley of Bend, Oregon, is an EDC workhorse that features a 3.36 inch clip point blade made of tough D2 tool steel, .12 inch thick, with a stonewash finish and swedged spine, notched thumb rest for secure purchase, ambidextrous thumb stud that locks up against the frame for superior strength against sideways torque, a flipper and Assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The textured OD G10 handle, 4.57 inches closed, has the IKBS ball bearing pivot for smooth deployment, steel liners for strength, sturdy Deadbolt® Lock, copper color pivot ring and lanyard hole accents for visual interest, and a deep carry pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The CRKT Butte Knife has an overall open length of 7.94 inches, and it weighs 5.00 ounces.
