Columbia River Knife and Tool: CRKT Black Fork Hunting Knife Set, CR-2839
The CRKT Black Fork Hunting Knife Set, designed by Arkansas knifemaker Tom Krein, is a compact kit that has the necessary tools needed for field dressing: a European style gut hook zipper, a skinner and a caper. Each of the three knives has single piece 8Cr13MoV stainless steel construction for strength, a notched blade spine for secure grip and precise control, a skeletonized handle to reduce weight, and a large lanyard hole. A black woven polyester rollup sheath holds all three. The Zipper Knife has a 2.563" blade with safety tip, and an overall length of 6.250"; the Skinner has a 2.875" drop point blade, and an overall length of 6.563"; the Caping Knife has a 2.875" modified Wharncliffe blade, and an overall length of 6.563". Made in China.
