The illustrated Cold Steel knife is the Cold Steel Urban Edge knife that features a 2 1/2" double edge fixed blade made of Japanese AUS8 stainless steel, 2.5mm thick. The black Kray-Ex T shaped handle of this Cold Steel knife has grooved texturing for secure grip. A Secure-Ex neck sheath is included with this Cold Steel knife. The Cold Steel Best Pal knife with plain edge blade has an overall length of 4", and it weighs 1.9 ounces

Great knife...Bad sheath 10/23/2015

Got this knife to carry for personal defense (live in Chicago). Love the the feel and size of the knife. Large enough to be effective but small enough to conceal. BUT the sheath doesn't keep the blade in! If I give it even a moderate shake the knife falls straight out. Not great for a neck knife! I don't even feel confident carrying it upright on my belt. The knife doesn't really click into the sheath and rattles a little bit. Maybe I have a defective sheath, I don't know.

All in all, great knife, just make sure you get a good sheath.

This was nicer then I thought it would be. Perfect and comfortable for a neck knife and good locking sheath. The only negative I have is the cheap chain that came with it. Common guy's, if your going to have a cool knife like this couldn't you put in a little effort with a better chain ?? My chain basically broke after a half day of wearing it. I instead got a heavier rope leather type chain to put it on. Hope this review helps and if you buy this knife (I highly recommend it) be prepared to buy your own chain to put it on.

SMALL DOUBLE EDGED PUSH DAGGER FLAT ON ONE SIDE. TAKES A RAZOR EDGE ON BOTH SIDES. RIGHT SIZE FOR A NECK KNIFE. NOT REALLY NOTICABLE. A BIGGER SIZE WOULD BE BETTER FOR MORE PENETRATION IN SELF DEFENSE MODE, BUT MIGHT NOT BE AS CONCEALED.
IN SUMMARY I WOULD GO A SIZE UP. BUT THIS IS GOOD FOR TIMES YOU CAN'T. BEST KNIFE IS THE ONE YOU HAVE ON YOU. SO BUY TWO SIZES.

I really like the Cold Steel Best Pal knives but had trouble finding them until this.
Great little knives that are versatile but especially for a neck knife. They are a good shape, pretty strong and are nice and sharp.

They can be used as a general knife that is very handy or for self defense in a last ditch if needed.

Small, comfortable, and functional. This double sided knife breathes ease and confidence of use. The sheath locks the knife in securely. No belt holster, comes with neck chain. Perfect for concealment and easy access! Light, and double sided blade can handle threats in both direction!
