This Cold Steel Magnum Tanto II Knife features a 7.5" tanto blade made of VG-10 San Mai steel, 3/16" thick, with a hollow grind and two tone satin / line grain finish. VG-10 San Mai is comprised of a core of VG-10 (for maximum edge holding ability) that is sandwiched between two layers of lower carbon steel (for impact resistance and lateral stress resistance). The Magnum Tanto II San Mai has a sturdy steel tsuba - style guard, a textured black Kray-Ex grip with a flat oval configuration that resists twisting in the hand under hard use, and a solid steel skull crusher pommel with integral lanyard hole. A Secure-Ex sheath is included. The Magnum Tanto II San Mai has an overall length of 13.13", and it weighs 11.4 ounces.
