The Camillus TAL1 CUDA Talon Knife - designed by custom knifemaker Rob Simonich, features a 3.5 inch drop point fixed blade made of corrosion and rust free Talonite® alloy, .125 inch thick, with a notched choil and thumb rest for secure grip. The TAL1 Talon has full tang construction for strength, black G10 scales with milled grooves for secure purchase, and an extended pommel with lanyard hole. A black Kydex sheath with Tek-Lok is included. 7.5 inches overall.
Camillus original factory production; made in the USA circa 2004.Talonite is an exotic alloy that combines the properties of chromium carbides (91 degree Rockwell) in a cobalt matrix (49 degree Rockwell), to produce a knife with outstanding edge retention and toughness. The Talonite alloy is not a steel, and is completely corrosion resistant.
