The Buck/Hood Hoodlum Knife features a 10.0 inch fixed blade made of 5160 steel, .220 inch thick. The blade has a powder coated finish for corrosion resistance, the Hoods Woods / Buck Knives logo and a spine notch for scoring bone, removing pots from over a campfire, etc. The Hoodlum Knife has full tang construction; with a pronounced choil and notched thumb ramp for secure grip, a Shock Mitigation System (SMS) to reduce wasted energy when chopping, removable black linen Micarta scales, an extended pommel suitable for use as a hammer, and a lanyard hole. A heavy duty black MOLLE nylon sheath with front carry pouch is included. The Buck/Hood Hoodlum Knife has an overall length of 15 1/2 inches, and it weighs 14.6 ounces, 22.0 ounces with the sheath.
