The 537SGY Benchmade Bailout Knife is a featherweight tactical EDC that features a 3.38 inch part serrated tanto blade made of tough CPM 3V tool steel, .090 inches thick. The blade has a non reflective tactical gray Cerakote ® finish, a top swedge to lessen weight, and dual thumb studs for ambidextrous one hand opening. The slim profile black Grivory handle, 4.71 inches closed, has checkered texturing for secure grip, sturdy AXIS Lock, an aluminum pommel (for strength without weight) with integral lanyard hole, and a side to side reversible deep carry steel mini clip mounted at the butt end. The Benchmade Bailout Knife has an overall open length of 8.07 inches, and it weighs a mere 2.05 ounces. Proudly made in the USA.

I like this knife - the ergos are good, the size is perfect, the weight is light, and the look is attractive. It is like a larger version of the bugout which I also have (I have 9 benchmade knives in my collection). I have many knives and I suspect this will be one of them that actually makes it into my EDC. FYI, I have purchased a number of my knives from KnivesPlus and them have always been good to deal with.
